It was the winter of 99'. I was sitting in church. She approached, dressed in a medium length, black dress. Her face was radiant like the summer sun, her skin looked so soft, so smooth. "Wow" I thought to myself, she sure has some really nice legs". Then church continued as usual.

Months passed by before I saw her again, but she left an impression on my mind, that will never fade with time. Spring (2000) began, I was very much still impressed with the first sight of her, but I never really imagined that she would one day ever consider talking to me. I saw her a few more times, but we never spoke.

I started working in New Jersey in the summer, and had given up hope of ever being in a relationship of any sort.

Winter began once more and we started talking when I came to New York on the weekends. I asked her out a number of times. Then I realized that I was captivated by her. I couldn't stop thinking about her. The first time I saw her I thought she was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, and today, she still is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen and she will forever be the most beautiful girl I will ever see.

Love is a wonderful thing. It grows and grows, and it never stops growing.

Four years ago, I met the most wonderful person in the world to me. The love of my life, Leslie. One Saturday evening while sitting in AY. I noticed him sitting at the back. He had the cutest adorable face I had ever seen. And when he smiled, he lit up the entire room. It wasn't until about a year later that I actually spoke to him.

Summer of 2000, I was standing in front of the church with a friend, and he came over and asked me if I wanted some of his "nuts". I thought to myself, "He's offering me his nuts." "Oh...Cashew nuts. Sure! Why not." It was then we had our first conversation talking and laughing about stupid stuff. I knew he would be the perfect guy for me. We both had a twisted sense of humor. We saw each other from time to time at church but it wasn't until late november that I asked him to go to a family party with me in the poconos. "Of course!" he said. But due to circumstances, we never made it to that party.

We continued talking as friends, and worked together on church projects. In January of 2001, we went out on our first date. Following this, we spent many dates after that at our favorite spots and on March 28th 2001, he asked me to be his girlfriend. And here we are four years later, deeply in love and planning to spend the rest of our lives together.

I LOVE YOU, Les.
